Historical cases
As each new case is analysed the extents of each imbalance are stored in the BlueFuse database. This information is used to automatically update a DecisionTrack summarising the frequency and extents of every imbalance across the laboratory cohort.
The DecisionTrack may be used to identify and discard high frequency imbalances however in combination with the query facilities in BlueFuse it may also be used to retrieve, in one mouse click, historical cases sharing the same imbalance.
Query results may be displayed individually or as stack regions. The same facilities may be used to export further DecisionTracks displaying, for example, the extents and frequencies of imbalances for different cancer sub-types or all samples in which a known gene is deleted.
